Rough sawn or planed (S4S)
Rough sawn is the economical choice for formwork and site work. S4S (surfaced four sides) is planed smooth, slightly smaller than its nominal size, and used for joinery and visible work.
Ordering by piece or by CBM
Volume in CBM = thickness (m) × width (m) × length (m) × number of pieces. For example, 100 pieces of 50 × 100 mm at 4 m = 0.05 × 0.1 × 4 × 100 = 2.0 CBM. Send sizes and piece counts and we work out the CBM on your quotation.
